Es una frase manida esa que dice que el cuento no vende en el mercado editorial. También es un tópico decir que el cuento es un género de y para escritores. A primera vista parece descabellado hacer libros en los tiempos que corren. Con este primer volumen de «Puñalada trapera» esperamos coger a mansalva estos clichés y, por lo menos, asestarles un primer golpe. También pretendemos que nuestro optimismo trascienda las ideas preconcebidas y contagie a toda la cadena del libro, es este el motivo ara haber apostado a un libro totalmente colombiano.

Some of them already consecrated, profusely edited and translated, others are barely emerging in their careers. They all offer us stories of high quality and relevance. It is a hackneyed phrase that says that the story does not sell in the publishing market. It is also a cliché to say that the short story is a genre of and for writers. At first glance it seems crazy to make books in these times. With this first volume of "Puñalada trapera" we hope to take these clichés at arm's length and, at least, deal them a first blow. We also want our optimism to transcend preconceived ideas and infect the entire book chain. This is the reason for having opted for a completely Colombian book.
