Soledad Acosta de Samper es, sin ninguna duda, la escritora colombiana más importante del Siglo XIX y una de las más sobresalientes en América Latina. De sus ochenta años, dedicó sesenta a la escritura en una variedad muy amplia de registros y géneros. En este libro se encuentran tres relatos de esta autora bogotana que recrean los usos y costumbres del altiplano en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX. Soledad Acosta de Samper is, without a doubt, the most important Colombian writer of the 19th century and one of the most outstanding in Latin America. Of her eighty years, she devoted sixty to writing in a very wide variety of registers and genres. In this book there are three stories by this Bogotá author that recreate the uses and customs of the altiplano in the second half of the 19th century.
