It brings together the history of the country of the Zenúes and the Ayape Swamp, and the wonderful stories of Juan Sábalo, who discovered that fish were food, showed it to others and became the first fisherman in his town. The author won with this book the third edition of the Enka Prize for Children's Literature in 1983.
