When he was a child, José M. Hernández looked out the window every night and watched the stars. They were of different colors: blue, yellow and white. Some were bigger and brighter than others, and some flickered as if they were alive. Later, when he saw the man landing on the moon on television, he knew that he wanted to be an astronaut.
